Claremont Meadows is suburb of Sydney and is part of the Greater Western Region. The original owners were the Aboriginal Darung tribe.

In the early 1980s I began making images of this area and other areas such as Kingswood, Werrington, Penrith, Orchard Hills, Minchinbury and Bligh estate near Windsor.

It was a time of rapid urban development of new housing estates with much land clearing. Much of these areas were semi-rural.  I wanted to record what was there at the time of these changes. I returned to Claremont Meadows over a number of years to see how it had changed.

The series is made of four images of Daisy Place from 1980s to 2002. Followed by images of  Claremont creek.
