The Bush Series was exhibited at Hazelhurst Community Gallery in 2004.

It was a photographic investigation of remnant bush located in forests and parks in the southern and western regions of Sydney.

That is the remains of native bush and trees of the Cumberland Plain.

In this series I also explored the idea that when we enter the bush a different set of sensibilities comes into play. There is an emphasis on light, shade, curved volumes and minute details.

Cumberland State Forest was created in 1939. One third of the land was planted as an arboretum the rest is made up of  natural regeneration.Cumberland State Forest,Castle Hill.
